Hotels, Motels and Resorts with Free Wi-Fi

Many Hotel, Motel and Resort chains, both National and Regional, are adding free Wi-Fi high speed internet access as an amenity for guests. Many of the locations offer Wi-Fi in guest rooms as well as public areas like lobbies, meeting rooms, restaurants, lounges, etc., but some only offer the access in the public areas. If you need Wi-Fi access in your room you should contact the chosen location ahead of time to confirm guest room access availability. You'll need to be a guest to access the free Wi-Fi in guest rooms, but the free Wi-Fi in public areas may be available to non-guests as well in some locations. Check with the hotels for their policies.

Near some Hotels/Motels that don't require you to be a guest to use the access, the signals may be picked up in the vicinity of the Hotel/Motel, i.e. parking lot, nearby gas stations, etc. It's worth checking out.

Omni Hotels has free Wi-Fi for guests in select locations.

Connected Hotel works with several Hotel chains in several states to provide free in-room access for guests.

Wyndham Hotel & Resorts and Summerfield Suites by Wyndham - requires free membership in the Wyndham ByRequest program. Where available, Free Internet access available only in guest rooms with Wayport service.

Marriott's Courtyard, Residence Inn, Spring Hill Suites, Fairfield Inn and Towne Place Suites in the US and Canada have Free wireless high speed internet in the lobby and/or in guest rooms in many locations.

Kimpton Hotels has 40 properties with free Wi-Fi in the lobby and many with guest room access as well.

Pacifica Hotel Company has 20 coastal Cailifornia properties from San Diego to San Francisco with Free Wi-Fi in gurest rooms and public areas.

All Clarion Hotels, Comfort Inn and Suites and other Choice Hotels brands offer Free Wireless. Use the Advanced Search to search for locations that offer free wireless internet.

Many Sleep Inns have Free Wi-Fi - check with each location for availability.

Wingate Inns now offer free wireless in all guest rooms in addition to their free wired access.

Best Western has installed free Wi-Fi access in the lobbies and/or guest rooms of 2,300 properties throughout the United States, Canada and the Caribbean.

Baymont Inns & Suites has free Wireless internet access in select locations.

Wireless high-speed Internet access service is available in hotel lobbies, lounges, restaurants and public areas at select Hilton hotels in major metropolitan areas across the U.S.

Hampton Inns has complimentary High Speed Wireless Internet Access available in the hotel public areas and guestrooms of many locations. Check with each location for availability.

Holiday Inn Express is offering free in-room and/or lobby Wi-Fi (password may be required for lobby access) in many properties.

All Holiday Inns offer Free Wi-Fi in their lobbies (password might be required) and some have guest room access.

Microtel Inns and Suites have free wireless internet access.

B.F. Saul Hotels - most of their properties in VA, OH, FL, MI and NY offer free wireless in public areas.

Heartland Inns - found in the state of Iowa in 15 cities including Des Moines and Cedar Rapids (and one more in Eau Claire, Wis.) has totally free Wi-Fi access for guests in every room and common area (including the pools).

Pineapple Management Services has 17, mostly Marriott properties, throughout the Southeast that offer free Wi-Fi to guests.

Hospitality America has several locations in the Southeastern USA with free Wi-Fi for guests.

AmeriTel Inns in WA, OR, ID and UT have free Wi-Fi in every room.

La Quinta Inns offer free Wi-Fi in common areas in selected locations.

Country Inn & Suites offers free wireless access in select locations.
